Disk defrag and cleaning soon

I noticed my laptop is running kind of slow. I think I need to do some Disk defrag and clean up soon. Defragmentation can speed up the computer. I’ll probably do it later after I get my online stuff done. I have to run my spybot and virus scanner too. Hopefully, I won’t find any nasty virus or trojans in my computer. I really miss my desktop computer. Sadly, I couldn’t bring it with me during my trip. I prefer to use desktop computer than my laptop. Anyhow, I think I’m going to used to this laptop again.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the world. I really miss my mother. I have not seen her for five years now. The last time I visited her in P.I was in 2008. I thought I could visit my folks this year, unfortunately, I can’t. I’m kind of tight with money right now. It cost a lot of money to visit them. Anyhow, I’m thankful that she’s healthy. My mom may not be the perfect mother in the world, but I’m truly grateful for molding me into a good person.

Car repair

We have a lot of expenses this year. We got our cars checked at the auto shop. The other car has been giving us some minor problems but most of them were just minor. There’s one problem that we haven’t solved yet. It’s just so mysterious to me. The engine check light on comes and goes sometimes. The mechanic already told us that it was the oxygen sensor so we got a new one, but still it didn’t solve the problem. Cars or automobiles are complicated to me. Sometimes, I wish I know how to repair cars. Car repairs are expensive. If I know how to fix cars, I would probably buy a 2 post lifts online, so I don’t have to use jacks to lift cars.

We finally arrived at our destination

We finally arrived here in Oregon. It was a long drive. It took us almost 14 hours to get to Red Bluff on the first day of our trip because we had to stop many times. We left San Diego at 3:45AM and arrived in Red Bluff at 5:30PM. We had a good night sleep at the hotel. I was glad my toddler was a good traveler although, he cried and complained a few times about sitting in his car seat. He is such a good kid. On the second day, it took us 9 hours to get to Portland. I decided not to make a lot of stops. I drove non-stop for 4 hours. I was glad that my toddler didn’t really complain about it and was taking a nap most of the time. Here we are! I was glad and thankful to God for keeping us safe during our road trip.

Getting ready for our trip to Oregon

I’m getting ready for our trip to Oregon. Whew! Lots of trips this year! Honestly, I’m kind of nervous about this trip because it’s just going to be me and my toddler. Imagine, driving for hours with a toddler. The trip is 17 hours from San Diego to Portland, but I’m going to split the trip into two days. I’m going to hit the road at around 3AM on Sunday just to avoid the traffic in L.A. I’m planning on driving from San Diego to Red Bluff and stay there overnight. Surely, I’m going to need coffee to give me energy. I pray that this trip is stress-free and safe.

Rechargeable batteries

I was so excited to send another package to my family. I’m sure that they are gonna be happy with what I placed in that big box. My parents should also be happy that I got them a blood pressure detector. My father has a heart condition and he needs to monitor his pulse and blood pressure every now and then. I was happy to find a great deal on the blood pressure detector. I included some extra AA batteries. The next time I will do is to send them rechargeable batteries and a charger. I just have to find the best rechargeable battery, so all they have to do is just recharge the batteries. I won’t be able to send another package until next year though.

We are back from Texas

We are back from Texas. It was a good trip though it was mostly for business. It was really nice for our friends to let us stay at their house for 4 nights and offer to babysit our toddler while we are out and about. I really liked Houston. Though, I must say that I am not really fond of big cities, but Houston is different. Anyhow, we got what we wanted there. It took us 24 hours drive back to San Diego. The trip was smooth and stress-free. Now, I’m preparing for me and my toddler’s trip to Oregon next week. We will probably stay there for over a month. I don’t really know. Let’s see.
